KSE-100 Index sheds 84 pointsKARACHI: The local equities market began its week on the negative note, as the benchmark KSE-100 Index declined by 84 points to close at 9,221.

The market started with red points on screens and remained under selling pressure throughout the session.

The investors refrained themselves from taking fresh positions on reports of reopening of cases against NRO beneficiaries.

The market turnover stood at 76 million shares which is the lowest since June 16, 2009.

KSE-30 Index lost 85 points to finish the day at 9,741.
