Petroleum products import drops 37% in July- October

Updated at: 1458 PST, Friday, November 20, 2009 ISLAMABAD: The import of petroleum products has been dropped 37 percent from July to October during current fiscal year. According to statistics issued by Federal Bureau of Statistics, $ 3.7 billion petroleum products have been imported from July to October. Also, furnace and high speed oil worth $ 2 billion whereas as $ one billion crude oil imported in the same period. The statistics showed drop in 37 percent drop in imports as compared to previous year.
