4 hurt in Islamabad suicide attack

Updated at: 1354 PST, Wednesday, December 02, 2009 ISLAMABAD: Four persons sustained injuries in a suicide attack at the gate of Naval Headquarters in sector E-8 of Islamabad. According to sources, a suicide bomber blew up himself when Naval guards stopped him at the entrance of Naval Headquarters. DIG Islamabad Bin Yameen has confirmed that it was a suicide attack. The blast shattered the windowpanes of nearby building and vehicles. Security forces have cordoned off the area and emergency has been imposed in Islamabad hospitals after the incident.
