Altaf denounces Islamabad suicide blast KARACHI: Chief of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Altaf Hussain, has strongly condemned the suicide blast occurred outside the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad today (Wednesday).

In his statements issued here, he said anti-Pakistan terrorists, bewildered by the operation of our armed forces, have now started to target the offices of national security besides general public.

He said that today’s suicide attack was in fact a strike on our national security and the terrorists, who are attacking the national security in the name of Islam, are enemies of Pakistan. These militants don’t deserve any clemency, he emphasized.

“Such cowardly attacks could not weaken the strong determination of our armed force, Hussain said, adding that they will not spare any efforts to eliminate the militants.

The MQM chief termed the naval guard, martyred in the attack, a national hero, who averted a massive mishap.

Hussain condoled with the aggrieved family of martyred guard and expressed sympathy with them.
