Cultural Day aimed at strengthening brotherhood in Sindh: ANP

Updated at: 1931 PST, Wednesday, December 02, 2009 KARACHI: President of the Awami National Party (AMP), Sindh, Shahi Syed, has said that the party’s decision to celebrate Cultural Day with Sindhi brothers is aimed at strengthening brotherhood and to give message of peace and tranquility. In a statement issued here Wednesday, ANP Sindh President said Sindh provided employment to everyone irrespective of his ethnicity and provided shelter to hundreds of thousands of migrants. However, he added some elements wanted their monopoly. Syed further said that Cultural Day is not against any individual or party, adding it is a protest for the same elements who want to create tension and anarchy.
