Updated at: 1157 PST, Tuesday, December 01, 2009 WANA: Four militants were killed and nine others injured during security forces ongoing operation in South Waziristan Agency (SWA).According to sources, fresh clashes occurred in Meerakai, Laddha and Asman Manza areas in which four militants were killed and nine wounded. The official statistics showed that more then 600 militants have been killed so far during operation Rah-e-Nijat whereas 70 security men martyred. Forces regained control of several strongholds of militants and established check posts. |
