Kasuri for US role to improve Pak-India ties

Updated at: 2053 PST, Thursday, December 03, 2009 LAHORE: Former foreign minister Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri said Thursday United States will have to play its role to improve relations between Pakistan and India. He made these comments while speaking to newsmen at a meeting of Muslim League-Q (Like Minded group). He said Pakistan’s nuclear arsenals are fully secure. The former minister also dismissed the impression that the present government would not complete its tenure. He, however, added that it depends on the performance of government. Kasuri said that his party was in contact with three political groups for future electoral alliance. About new Afghan policy, he said that Obama uttered good remarks on Pakistan.
