Orders for transfers, appointments of 13 judicial officers issued in NWFP

Updated at: 1751 PST, Wednesday, December 02, 2009 PESHAWAR: Orders for transfers and appointments of 13 judicial officers have been issued in NWFP, according to a handout issued by the registrar of Peshawar High Court (PHC), Syed Musaddiq Hussain Shah, here on Wednesday. According to the handout, District and Session Judge Syed Moamar Jan and Additional District and Session Judge Ashfaq Taj have been transferred to Nowshehra and Mansehra respectively. It further said that Sardar Muhammad Irshad, Additional District and Session Judge, has been transferred to Mansehra, while Additional Session Judge Zahid Mahmud has been moved to Swat. Additional District and Session Judge Sajjad Ahmed has been posted in Tank from Kurk. In addition, Additional District and Session Judge Rafiqullah, Additional District and Session Judge Bakhtzada Khan, Additional District and Session Judge Naeem Iqbal, and Additional District and Session Judge Tariq Parvez Baloch, have been transferred to Mardan, Batkhela, Kurk and Upper Dir respectively. Jan Muhammad has been promoted to the position of OSD in the PHC. Additional District and Session Judge Abdul Rauf Khan, Additional District and Session Badruddin, and Additional District and Session Judge Muhammad Sabir have been moved to Samar Bagh, Lower Dir, Shab Kadr and Mardan.
