Peshawar: 4 hurt in Regi checkpoint blast

Updated at: 1520 PST, Thursday, December 03, 2009 PESHAWAR: Four persons including a policeman have been injured in a remote control blast near police check post in Regi area in outskirts of Peshawar. According to police sources, a pressure cooker filled with seven kilogram explosives had been installed near police checkpoint that was blasted through remote control. DSP Haroon Baber talking to media said blast occurred near a police picket injured policeman Ajmal and three passersby. The injured were shifted to Khyber teaching hospital where all of them reported out of danger.
