PM leaves for home after 5-day Germany, Britain tour

Updated at: 0728 PST, Friday, December 04, 2009 LONDON: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani left for homeland after five-day tour of Germany and Britain, Geo News reported in the wee hours of Friday. In his two-day London visit, the PM Gilani met his British counterpart Gordon Brown and addressed a joint press conference. Gilani also had meeting with British Foreign Secretary David Miliband and addressed the Pakistanis staying in Britain. Earlier, the premier stayed for three days in Germany and held meetings with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and German President Horst Koehler there. He also attended a conference held in Frankfurt in connection with the bilateral investment and also addressed the Pakistani community living in Germany.
