Updated at: 1229 PST, Tuesday, December 01, 2009 HANGU: Four militants were killed during clashes between security forces and militants in Kurram Agency, Orakzai Agency and Hangu whereas 18 persons were arrested.Security forces launched operation in different areas of Kurram Agency, Orakzai and Hangu to nab militants coming from South Waziristan due to forces offensive. Four militants were killed in the clashes and 18 suspected militants were arrested and cache of arms recovered from their possession, sources said. Twelve persons were arrested during search operation in Torawari and Saparkot areas in Hangu as curfew remained continued in these areas. |
