Punjab cabinet’s expansion is due next year: minister

Updated at: 2005 PST, Wednesday, December 02, 2009 LAHORE: Provincial Education Minister for Excise and Taxation Shuja-ur-Rehman said that expansion of Punjab cabinet was expected next year. He was speaking to newsmen during inauguration of new intensive care unit (ICU) of the Lahore General Hospital here on Wednesday. About raise of the transportation fares, he said a proposal has been forwarded to the Chief Minister for consideration after holding talks with transporters. He hoped that the government would allow the transporters to increase fares.
