ANP demands review of foreign policy PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) NWFP President Senator Afrasiab Khatak Wednesday demanded the federal government to review its foreign policy and relations with the neighbouring countries and that the terrorist dens should be eliminated from Fata.

Talking to media after offering Fateha Khawni for the eternal peace of MPA Dr Shamsher Ali Khan, Afrasiab said his party has announced three days of mourning countrywide and the party reiterates the resolve to continue the war against terrorism.

Terrorists are again rallying in North Waziristan Agency (SWA) and Bajaur Agency after fleeing from Malakand and South Waziristan Agency (SWA), the ANP leader said urging the government to wipe out all terror havens in Fata.

Afrasiab welcomed the US announcement regarding troops withdrawal from Afghanistan, as it is a sovereign and independent country and its issue would be at last politically resolved.

He expressed dissatisfaction over federal government’s policy on Fata, saying the policy needs to be overhauled.
