Lahore: CM forms committee to probe 3-year old girl’s death

Updated at: 1806 PST, Thursday, December 03, 2009 LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif, taking notice of the tragic death of a girl, Eman, due to the alleged negligence of a doctor, formed an inquiry committee to probe into the incident. The three-year old girl with a burn injury on a hand was brought to a hospital where she died later. The parents are blaming the doctors’ negligence for the death of their daughter. The Punjab Chief Minister took notice of the incident and formed a 3-member inquiry committee headed by Nazar Chowhan. The committee has been tasked to submit its report within 48 hours.
